Bell Transit began its operation in 2003, as supplemental accessible transportation to various taxi operators in Alameda County. In the subsequent years we have expanded our services to, paratransit, medical facilities, individuals and student transportation for multiple organizations and school districts. We offer both same day/on demand and contracted services. Bell Transit is committed to providing safe, reliable and cost effective transportation solutions.

During COVID-19, 2020 was a challenging year for many transit providers. Bell Transit met this challenge by retrofitting vehicles, supplying PPE, and modifying our best practice guidelines. In fact, Bell Transit was among one the first service providers to transport COVID-19 critical patients to essential medical appointments in Contra Costa and Alameda County.
